
Alex Krupski
NATIONAL COORDINATOR
After graduating from Johnson Technical Institute in 1988 Alex began his career in the elevator industry and proudly became a member of IUEC Local 84. He passed the mechanics exam in 1992. Since then he has worked for various companies in the areas of construction, modernization, repair and maintenance of elevators and escalators.
Having grown up in a strong union household Alex’s father engrained in him the union beliefs of brotherhood, solidarity, and a good work ethic. Alex has been actively involved in Local 84 for the past 22 years. He served Local 84 in various capacities which include Warden, Vice-president, President, Executive Board member and as Co-chairman of the Local 84 JATC. Alex represented the local as a delegate at the International Convention in Toronto, Canada; at the Legislative Conference in Washington, DC., and at the PA Building Trades Conference in Philadelphia, PA.
In 1994 Alex became an instructor for NEIEP. Over the years Alex has continued to learn about his trade from the NEIEP classes and the programs offered through the EIWPF. Alex has completed the OHSA 500 and 502 training courses and in 2007 became a QEI certified Elevator Inspector through the EIWPF.
