    Bill graduated in 1974 from Dixie Jr College and was accepted that same year into the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. He served his four year apprenticeship with Local 525 graduating in 1978 as a Journeyman Pipefitter  / Welder.  During the next few years he worked as a fitter / welder at the Nevada Test Site and numerous power houses in Nevada an Utah .     

    In 1980 while being on strike, Bill was hired by Westinghouse Elevator as a helper working on escalators. Early in 1981 he went to work with Otis after the MGM Grand fire on stage lifts. He continued employment with Otis until 1997 when he was appointed Business Rep. for Local 18,   Las Vegas  area.

    Bill was active in helping to establish the apprenticeship program and liciencing  in the state and also serves on the ASME National Code Committee.  He served in this capacity until May 2006 when he went to work in repair for KONE until accepting his current position with the EIWPF April 2, 2007 .
