Kevin P. Sullivan
NATIONAL COORDINATOR


In September of 1998, Kevin Sullivan was hired by the Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund. His responsibilities are to assist the area coordinators in their duties. He has been involved in the development of the EIWPF's Licensing and Inspection Program, which is now called the Elevator Safety Bill. Kevin spent the past year fine-tuning, and implementing this program. Kevin also assists in the instruction of the EIWPF educational programs and seminars held at the Maritime Institute in Maryland. Kevin is a member of IUEC Local 4, Boston.

While attending college Kevin worked as a new hire during the summers of 1987 and 1988 for Dover Elevator Company in Boston, Local 4 jurisdiction.

In the year prior to joining the EIWPF, Kevin was employed as a Dealer Marketing Representative at Putnam Investments. His responsibilities included communicating the latest sales and marketing information on Putnam's financial products with Putnam's wholesale staff as well as both outside financial planners and advisors.

Prior to joining Putnam, Kevin worked as an Enforcement Investigator with the Massachusetts Securities Division of the Office of the Secretary of State. There he was responsible for investigating securities fraud.

Kevin graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Political Science in 1990. He is currently a candidate for a Masters Degree in Union Leadership and Administration at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA. Kevin entered the Program in January of 2000 and will graduate in the spring of 2002.
