
Training-Education-Activist-Membership (T.E.A.M)
This class is for new elevator constructors in the elevator industry that want to know more about the Industry they are working in. This course covers the history of the IUEC as well as its benefits and organizing policies.
Industry Advancement Program (IAP)
The Industry Advancement Program assists signatory contractors and the International Union of Elevator Constructors in recovering units not under signatory service contracts. Signatory contractors wishing to learn more about this program can contact Garry Kosinski at 1-888-511-3113, ext. 1.
Technical Coordinator Support (TCS)
This initiative is designed to provide local union offices, chartered by the IUEC, with both remote and on site technical resource for training, development, and technical support for the various hardware and software products available on today's computer systems.
OSHA 500 Training (Train-The-Trainer)
This program offers a wide variety of OSHA training – OSHA 10 hour classes for rank and file members – OSHA 30 hour
classes designed for Train the Trainer, this class is for those who wish to become OSHA Instructors.
P-A-C-E (Professional Accredited Continuing Education)
Through this program, the EIWPF administers continuing education for Certificate of Competency Holders and Licensed Elevator Mechanics, “on safety in their workplace”, an integral part of the Model Elevator Safety Code Legislation.
ASME A17.1 Section 8.6 – Maintenance – Repair - Replacement (MRR)
This was added in the ASME A17.1 2000 Code which deals with maintenance, repair and Replacement, made to all conveyances covered under this section. This class is primarily designed for Mechanics who perform MRR/contract service work in areas which have adopted the A17.1 2000 Code.
