| Signatory Contractor Educational Seminars (Labor Liaison) These Labor Liaison Seminars continue to inform our contractors of vital programs and grants provided by the EIWPF to assist their efforts in recovering the market share of the Elevator Industry in their areas. These informative sessions will focus on the Industry Advancement Program, Elevator Industry Transition Assistance Program and the need to establish the current Davis Bacon wage and benefit rates and Prevailing Wage Rates that apply on Federally Funded Projects in their State. The EIWPF continues this Quality Training Initiative for the better of our Industry. Qualified Elevator Inspector The EIWPF QEI Certification and Recertification applications are available via our EIWPF website at www.eiwpf.org. Choose the QEI PROGRAM option for all the most current information and applications. The EIWPF provides the QEI Certification training as well as an Online Recertification Program and ongoing Continuing Education classes to supplement the Inspector's training portfolio. Our Online Recertification Program provides the Inspector with Immediate Feedback and exam results. This allows us to quickly provide the Inspector with his/her updated QEI Credentials. Please check back often on our website to see when we have scheduled our next QEI Certification and/or Continuing Education Classes and to take full advantage of our automated Online Recertification Program. The QEI PROGRAM menu option will provide you with the detailed schedule for both the Certification and Continuing Education Classes as well as any updated QEI News and Information including Frequently Asked Questions. | EIWPF & PACE Professionally Approved Continuing Education This past November the EIWPF Completed the Georgia PACE Instructor Training Class held in Atlanta, Georgia. This year in Georgia, we plan to train approximately 400 Elevator Mechanics. This Georgia group along with others around the nation are helping the EIWPF to build a Strong Continuing Education program for our Industry.
