The Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund (EIWPF) has created a series of short videos about safety. This series is titled “What were they thinking?” and Safety Video #5 has just been released to all Locals. Locals should already have a copy of 1 through 4, but if not please do not hesitate to contact us for additional copies using the information below.

Each video presents a verbal recreation of an actual incident that happened to one of our Brothers or Sisters. The members in these videos have volunteered to share the details of their accidents and it is our hope, and the hope of those portrayed in the video, that watching will help our members avoid similar accidents in the future.

After viewing this video, you may find that you have, or know of someone with, a story to share with the rest of the industry. If you find this to be the case, we ask that you or the member with a story contact Sarah Verleysen using the information below.
