Mike Mintle

Mike Mintle is a 25-year member of the IUEC Local 2, Chicago. He began his career in 1999 and spent the majority of his field work in Construction and Modernization, with a short time in Service and Maintenance. Mike got involved at the Local early on in his career and remained active throughout. He has served on many boards and committees within the Local: Executive Board member, Chairman of the JAC, Mentor for apprentices, Recording Secretary, and was elected as Business Representative / Vice President. Mike then went on to get elected as the Secretary / Treasurer for the Chicago and Cook County Building Trades Council. After fulfilling the remaining two years of the term, he started as a National Coordinator for Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund in February 2024.
