Grant Processing, Photo/Video, Safety Poster/Calendar and IUEC Welcome Folders and Brochures
After completing college, Sarah spent a number of years working as a computer programmer, a career she thoroughly enjoyed and was reluctant to give up. However, after one too many children she finally made the choice to take several years off to raise her family. Computers can be a fickle workmate, constantly changing and evolving, and so, when it became time to return to the work force, she found that her computer language skills had gone the way of the dinosaur.
She needed to make a decision, return to school (not in the budget) or find something else. She tried a couple of part time positions, carefully working around everyone else’s schedule, before she finally found a full time position in a doctor’s office working a myriad of positions from secretary to medical billing. Her move to EIWPF was initially spurred by location, it being so much closer to home when her house was full of teenagers, but ultimately it was a great choice with amazing people, wonderful environment and plenty of room for growth. Again versatility is the name of the game and Sarah has worked on many of EIWPF’s programs including PACE, TEAM, all EIWPF Grant programs and even a little QEI. After the retirement of James Whitehead, she took over the EIWPF Safety Poster and Video Program and is currently learning all about website design and maintenance.
