Todd Albertson

Todd is third generation elevator constructor of the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 34 of Indianapolis, Indiana.

He followed in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps when starting his career at Montgomery/Kone in 1999. He successfully completed his apprenticeship and passed the NEIEP’s mechanic’s exam in 2004.

Todd served as Local 34’s President for 12 years and was elected to replace his father after his retirement as Business Manager in 2017. He sat on two building trades councils and was a Vice President of the Indiana State Building Trades.

In January of 2023 Todd was appointed as a EIWPF National Coordinator.

Todd is a married father of four daughters and a grandfather. His family stays busy and always supportive of each other’s dreams.
